I like playing with words and discovering new ways to use them. For example, did you know "mean streets" are just bullyvards? Words are how we conceptualize, communicate, respond to, and reflect on new ideas—and how we reimagine old ones. Words are everything.

I received my first publication at thirteen years old for a poem about my favorite guitar. Later, I'd combine the two passions and start writing original songs. Over the years, I have released several albums, including an EP on Cleopatra Records (a checkmark on my bucket list).

 

Another creative outlet for me is film and screenwriting. Getting lost in the worlds and minds of my characters has become my favorite pastime. You can find a collection of my screenplays here if you're into that sort of thing.

 

I hold a BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University, where I was trained in mastering the craft of—you guessed it—story. When not writing, I'm probably revising or having a one-way conversation with my pets in the voices I've given them.
